Out front of the Allstars 1st March is Mr Hoodoo heself, Mr Julian James. Winner ‘Best New Talent’ at the 2020 Aust Blues Music Awards. Julian’s been touring over 200 gigs per year across Australia on the back of his fabulous release ‘Silver Spade‘ and other new tracks.. James also fronts the powerhouse Melbourne Chicago style outfit Catfish Voodoo on vox and guitar. This week at the Yorkshire Stingo Mr Rob Papp, blues guitarist / singer who studied with greats like Joe Pass and Robben Ford in Los Angeles. Rob fronts Melbourne’s “Brothers in Blues” an in-demand outfit for both festivals and hip venues. Rob established the Blue Note College of Music back in ’88, and is sort after for his unique take on the blues played with his mastery of jazz.
